Nice to meet you! I'm Tram Ngo.
I'm an illustrator inspired by playful storytelling and Vietnam's abundant culture. I was born in the bustling city of Saigon before immigrating to the U.S. at ten years old.
While struggling immensely with cultural barriers in a new country, I found refuge in books. My heart jumped with joy at every rare mention of my culture, of someone like me. This joy continues to motivate my work today.
As an artist, I create children's illustrations because I am passionate about helping our youths navigate their sense of self through illustrated books.
Currently, I am pursuing the Illustration BFA at Cal State Long Beach. I'm always open to freelance opportunities, collaborations, or friendships :)
